WORKING WITH WAX PATTERNS
Creating the wax pattern is only the first stage of the foundry wax working process. The wax cast must be removed from the REPRODUCTION MOULD, retouched and checked for accuracy, before being prepared for the investment moulding process. This next section of the site describes the typical sequence of events that prepare the wax pattern correctly for the next stage of the casting cycle.
